The performances of participants are evaluated based on professional criteria reflecting the level of technical mastery, artistic expressiveness, and adherence to academic standards.

I. General Scoring ScaleEach jury member assigns scores based on the following criteria. The maximum score is 100 points.

II. Main Criteria:Technical Proficiency (up to 20 points)
• Intonation accuracy, precision of notes
• Mastery of the instrument or voice, technical excellence
• Clarity of rhythm, articulation, bowing or fingering (for instrumentalists)
• Breath control, diction (for vocalists)

Musicality (up to 20 points)
• Understanding of the musical text, expressive performance
• Sense of phrasing, dynamic nuance
• Ability to convey the mood of the piece

Interpretation (up to 20 points)
• Depth of artistic concept, interpretation of the work
• Adherence to stylistic norms of the era and composer
• Individuality of performance, originality of approach

Artistry and Stage Presence (up to 20 points)
• Emotional involvement, expressiveness
• Confidence on stage, audience engagement
• Natural movement, command of stage space

Repertoire Complexity (up to 10 points)
• Technical and artistic difficulty of selected pieces
• Diversity of the program, balance between technical and lyrical works
• Ability to handle virtuosic and complex elements

Overall Impression (up to 10 points)
• Cohesion of performance, program completeness
• Relevance to age category and level of preparation
• Charisma, naturalness on stage

III. Final Evaluation and Award Distribution
• The final score is the sum of all individual criteria.
• The average score is calculated as the arithmetic mean of all jury members’ ratings.
• In the event of a tie, the final decision is made by the Chair of the Jury.
• The jury may award special prizes for outstanding achievements.

IV. Additional Judging Rules
• Use of backing tracks or any sound processing is strictly prohibited.
• Repertoire must be performed by memory.
• Repertoire must not exceed the time limit specified in the regulations.
• The jury may stop a performance that exceeds the time limit.

V. Appeals Process
• A participant or their teacher may submit a written request for clarification of the evaluation.
• Appeals will be considered only in the event of technical errors in score calculation.
• Jury decisions are final and not subject to revision.
