In order to maintain the high organizational and professional standards of the project, the Organizing Committee has decided to move the
VI edition of the Zarina Altynbayeva Youth Music Competition to 2027.

Over the course of five editions, the Competition has brought together talented young musicians, educators and distinguished representatives of the academic music community from across the Turkic world. Guided by its established principles of professionalism, high artistic standards and international cultural dialogue, we will continue our work towards the VI edition of the Competition.
As a result of the move to 2027, the application period previously scheduled for 1–25 September 2026 will not open. The previously announced dates for Rounds I and II in 2026 are no longer applicable.

The VI International Academic Competition for Young Musicians —
Zarina Altynbayeva Youth Music Competition — will take place in Almaty in 2027.
New competition dates, updated Competition Regulations, participation requirements and further organizational information will be announced in advance on the official Competition website.
